A renowned domestic lithium ore dressing site has successfully introduced and applied GN Solids Control‘s self-developed five-layer high-frequency fine screen equipment, model GND5Z1216, marking a significant step forward in the field of fine particle material screening and classification for the dressing process. This installation includes three GND5Z1216 five-layer screens and one 15-port ore distribution box, with a precise screen opening of 0.15mm, tailored specifically for the efficient processing of spodumene ore.
According to the site manager, the introduction of GN Solids Control’s five-layer high-frequency fine screen primarily aims to optimize the subsequent processing flow of materials from the cyclone overflow outlet, significantly enhancing the ore grade through precise screening. During the screening process, the undersize materials are directly fed into the flotation machine for further extraction, while the oversize materials are intelligently returned to the mill and re-enter the cyclone, forming an efficient closed-loop circuit that significantly improves resource utilization and production efficiency.
GN Solids Control‘s five-layer high-frequency fine screen stands out among numerous screening equipment due to its unique two-degree-of-freedom resonance principle design. Using a single excitation source (vibration motor set) to drive the entire machine for linear vibration, it not only boasts a novel vibration mode but also effectively reduces energy consumption. Meanwhile, its high-frequency vibration characteristics ensure both high screening efficiency and large processing capacity, making it a technologically advanced, structurally simple, and reliable screening equipment in the field of fine particle material screening.
Notably, GN Solids Control’s five-layer high-frequency fine screen employs flexible polyurethane fine screens, which feature a high open area ratio (28-45%), significantly increasing the screening area and extending the service life of the screen to over six months on average, thereby drastically reducing the frequency of screen replacement and maintenance costs.
Since its installation and operation, GN Solids Control’s five-layer high-frequency fine screen has performed exceptionally well at the lithium ore dressing site, not only significantly improving the ore grade but also automating and intelligently upgrading the production process, earning high praise from the customer. This successful application not only showcases GN Solids Control’s profound strength in fine particle material screening technology but also provides valuable experience and a demonstration for the mining industry both domestically and globally.
In the future, GN Solids Control will continue to uphold the concept of “technological innovation, superior quality,” and continuously develop and introduce more efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly screening equipment, contributing further to the sustainable development of the mining industry.
