GN Shale Shaker and Mud Cleaner Delivered for Offshore Drilling Platform

Compact & High-Performance Solids Control for Offshore Projects

GN Solids Control has successfully delivered a set of shale shaker and mud cleaner systems to support drilling operations on an offshore platform. Designed for space efficiency and harsh offshore environments, this equipment helps ensure stable mud performance and efficient solids separation under demanding conditions.

The GN shale shaker provides primary solids removal with high G-force vibration and robust structure, reducing the load on downstream equipment and improving overall fluid treatment efficiency. Its modular design allows for quick installation and maintenance—critical for offshore platforms where uptime is key.

Paired with the shaker, the GN mud cleaner combines desanding and desilting capabilities in a compact footprint. By removing fine solids after the initial screening, it maximizes drilling fluid recovery and minimizes discharge volume, supporting both performance and environmental compliance.

This successful delivery highlights GN’s ability to provide fit-for-purpose offshore solids control solutions that meet international standards and adapt to the space and safety constraints of marine drilling environments.

GN continues to support offshore contractors with proven equipment, engineering support, and global service capability.

Overseas Delivery of Mud Recycling Systems and Decanter Centrifuges by GN Solids Control

Supporting International Drilling Projects with Reliable Solids Control Equipment

GN Solids Control has recently completed the export of two sets of GNMS-500K mud recycling systems and three GNLW364GT decanter centrifuges to an overseas customer engaged in trenchless and geotechnical drilling operations. This delivery reflects GN’s commitment to providing efficient, field-proven solutions for global drilling challenges.

Compact Design with Strong Separation Capability

The GNMS-500K system is designed for 500GPM fluid processing capacity, offering effective multi-stage separation in a compact footprint. It combines coarse screening, desanding, and desilting functions, helping drilling contractors reduce mud losses, recycle fluids, and maintain cleaner job sites.

In addition to the recycling systems, the client also selected three GNLW364GT decanter centrifuges for enhanced fine solids removal. These centrifuges are built with high-speed rotation, wear-resistant components, and automatic control, making them ideal for continuous-duty applications in demanding drilling conditions.

By integrating the GNMS-500K units with GNLW364GT centrifuges, the customer can achieve a fully closed-loop drilling fluid recycling process, minimizing environmental impact and reducing the need for fresh water and mud additives.

This project is another example of GN’s ability to deliver customized, scalable solids control solutions that align with modern drilling practices and sustainability goals. GN Solids Control continues to expand its footprint in overseas markets with reliable equipment, engineering expertise, and responsive support.

Robust GN Solids Vacuum Pumps Shipped to African Oilfield Service Company

Powerful Transfer of Sludge and Drilling Waste in Harsh Environments

GN Solids Control has recently completed the shipment of a batch of solids vacuum pumps to a major oilfield service company in Africa. These pumps are purpose-built to handle the challenges of transferring thick sludge, viscous fluids, oily waste, and high-solids content slurry commonly found in oil & gas and industrial operations.

Also known as sludge vacuum pumps, GN’s units are fully pneumatic-operated, enabling use in hazardous and remote locations without relying on electric power. This makes them especially suitable for field conditions where safety, reliability, and mobility are essential.

High Solids Handling Capacity, Minimal Maintenance

The vacuum pump design is based on a high vacuum suction and pressure discharge cycle, capable of moving materials with a solids content up to 80%. It can transfer dry, wet, and even abrasive materials over long distances without clogging. Since there are no internal rotating parts in contact with the fluid, the pump offers high durability and reduced maintenance, even in the most demanding environments.

Applications include:

  • Drilling waste transfer

  • Oil sludge recovery

  • Tank cleaning

  • Mining slurry handling

  • Environmental clean-up projects

This successful delivery to Africa is a testament to GN’s ability to provide practical, efficient, and field-proven pumping solutions tailored to global clients’ needs.

GN Solids Control continues to support oilfield service providers with modular, low-maintenance equipment designed to improve operational efficiency and environmental compliance.

GN VFD Drilling Fluids Decanter Centrifuges Supplied to Asian Drilling Company

High-Performance Solids Control Equipment for Drilling Fluids Management

GN Solids Control has recently delivered three VFD-controlled decanter centrifuges to a reputable drilling company in Asia. The shipment includes 2 sets of GNLW363D-VFD and 1 set of GNLW453D-VFD, designed to handle both fine and medium solids separation in various drilling fluid conditions.

Efficient, Adjustable, and Field-Proven

The GNLW363D-VFD is GN’s flagship model for barite recovery and low-gravity solids removal, widely used in oil and gas drilling. The GNLW453D-VFD, with a larger bowl, offers greater capacity for high-volume applications. Both models are equipped with variable frequency drives, allowing operators to adjust the bowl and differential speeds for optimal performance in real-time.

With a strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and adaptability, GN’s decanter centrifuges continue to support global drilling operations in achieving better fluid recycling and reduced waste volumes. This delivery reaffirms GN’s presence in the Asian energy market as a trusted supplier of solids control technology.
