GN Solids Control recently delivered small desanders and desilters to a drilling company in Africa. These devices are essential equipment for drilling fluid treatment, effectively removing solid particles from drilling fluids to ensure smooth drilling operations.
GNWS drilling fluid desander is a secondary solids control equipment for drilling fluid treatment, divided into cyclone desander and cyclone desilter according to the diameter of the cyclone. It is mainly used to separate solid particles with a particle size of 47-76μm in drilling fluids, ensuring the cleanliness and stability of the drilling fluid.
On the other hand, the drilling fluid desilter is a tertiary solid control equipment for drilling fluid treatment. According to the size of the cyclone, it is divided into cyclone drilling fluid desander and cyclone drilling fluid desilter. Generally, cyclone combinations below 6 inches are called drilling fluid desilters. It commonly uses 5-inch and 4-inch cyclones to separate solid particles with a particle size of 15-47μm in drilling fluids. Depending on the customer’s processing volume requirements, an appropriate number of cyclones can be selected to form a drilling fluid desilter. GN’s cyclone drilling fluid desilters are widely used in petroleum drilling and horizontal directional drilling, providing reliable solid control services for drilling operations.
The delivered desanders and desilters will provide reliable solid control support for drilling operations of the drilling company in Africa, improving the quality and efficiency of drilling fluids to ensure smooth drilling operations.
GN is committed to providing high-quality solid control equipment and solutions for global customers, continuously innovating and optimizing products to meet the growing needs of customers.
