With the oil price at a high level, more and more energy companies are trying to expend the production so as to more the more drilling contractors or drilling mud service companies are making capital investment on large oil and gas drilling mud solids control equipment and drill cuttings waste management systems.
Recently GN Solids Control finished another batch of oilfield centrifuges and drilling cuttings screw conveyors for a Middle Eastern customers. It mainly includes 9 sets drilling waste decanter centrifuge, 3 sets oil based mud cuttings dryer, 12 sets screw conveyors and 12 sets screw pumps.

1.GN Decanter Centrifuge
GN decanter centrifuge is one of the more popular drilling mud treating equipment especially the 14 inch bowl size among those various models from 9 inch to max. 30 inch bowl.
GN decanter centrifuge runs at high rotating speed, the rotating bowl and screw propeller rotating at the same direction but with a differential speed so the large density solids are pushed along the internal bowl and discharged from the solids port, while the relatively clean water is collected in the middle circle and pushed through the liquid ports.
2.GN Cuttings Dryer
GN Cuttings Dryer is one key treating equipment when speaks of oil base cuttings or synthesized base cuttings treatment. Usually after treated by GN cuttings dryer oil on the final cuttings can be downsized to less than 5% from 15%, recovered oil can be send to refinery plant for further treating and resell.

Screen basket of the Cuttings Dryer is hard faced, with 3 different openings 0.25, 0.35 and 0.5 mm for option. GN cuttings dryer is self-lubricated with an automatic oil lubrication system.
3.GN Screw Conveyor
Screw conveyor is widely used to transfer solids materials with limited distance. These 12 sets GN screw conveyors are used to collect the cuttings after treated by shale shaker, desander or desilter and feed into GN cuttings dryer.

4.GN Screw Pump
GN screw pump is also called GN positive displacement pump, which usually used as the feeding pump for decanter centrifuge. Due to the special structure, every run of the rotator is a fixed volume, so it can feed a linear capacity fluids by control the rotating speed which can be controlled on GN centrifuge’s HMI control panel.
